Description

Photos never do justice to opal. The camera can only capture the play of light at the angle it is on and not the myriad colours around. No more so than when the principal colour is red. This solid stunner is reds and blues and bright in any light. From the Grawin area of Lightning Ridge, the original gem was 3.6 carats. Now encased in soft and mellow 14 carat gold vermeil. The 50cm +- chain has two extension jump rings and a lobster clasp.
