Description

Potch is the name usually given to opal material that has no “fire” or Colour flash”. Potch can be any colour really from clear to black and in this stone the potch is going from a creamy shade to pale blue and then you can see the potch change to opal but just flashing through under the intricate stone pattern. The tip of this stone and also in areas surrounding the potch pool there is green pinfire. Careful wire wrapping is needed if the stone is to reveal its secrets. Measures 33.34 x 22.73 x 7,
