Terms and conditions

Boulder opal is a natural stone generally found only in Australia and can show at times small inclusions within the colour band. Opal stones are generally found in ironstone. Sandstone is generally petrified wood.

In order to see the full range of colours all opal (particularly boulder opal) should be viewed in direct sunlight. Band or seam opal will photograph with reasonable clarity but pin fire opal (where the light fragmentations are particularly fine) are difficult to photograph and invariably present better in person than by photo.

Our photos are taken with a Nikon camera that includes a zoom lens and they are a static image. While all care is taken sunlight conditions generally give a higher presentation than a camera can represent.

The buyer needs to be aware of their countries duties and taxes.

Product Information

We do not refund auction purchases so please be certain of your decision prior to purchasing.

If you are a cutter, then you need to ensure that you cut the opal only in the way the stone allows.

If a purchased product does not meet the product description and/or photograph provided then a refund can be discussed.

If a refund is deemed to be warranted the product must be photographed, the photo supplied and then that product returned as is where is. Only the opal purchase price will be refunded. The purchaser will meet postage costs.
